First revealed in January, EIP is an open innovation environment designed to connect enterprises, technology providers, startups, academia, and ecosystem partners through U Mobile’s ULTRA5G network. The inaugural Advisory Panel includes Dr Chin Chee Seong, National President of the SME Association of Malaysia; Ts. Dr Raslan Ahmad, Chairman of the Malaysia Smart City Alliance Association (MSCA); Datin Dr Ts. Habsah Nordin, President of the Data Management Association (DAMA) Malaysia Chapter; and Ts. The panel will “provide perspectives on priority innovation areas, emerging enterprise needs and opportunities for ecosystem collaboration,” says the telco, and it will also “provide input on the development of commercially relevant use cases and innovation pathways that support EIP’s ambition.” Further details on the EIP, upcoming initiatives, and participating ecosystem partners will be announced closer to EIP’s official launch date.
