THE United States military is conducting an urgent search for a missing pilot after Iran shot down an American F-15E Strike Eagle, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict now in its sixth week.
Iran has called on its citizens to locate the pilot, offering a reward for assistance.
AP reported on Saturday that the incident follows the downing of two U.S. aircraft on Friday, with one crew member rescued while another remains unaccounted for.
