UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has no concerns about Saudi Arabia buying up players from Europe.

Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in January, while the likes of Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante will be playing in the league later this year.

A Saudi club is also close to securing Ruben Neves from Wolves, while Chelsea's Kalidou Koulibaly is a target.

Asked about the Saudi project threatening UEFA, Ceferin said: It was a similar mistake in China when they all brought players who are at the end of their career.

They should invest in academies, they should bring coaches, and they should develop their own players."

Saudi Arabia is set to bid to host the 2030 World Cup, which is a key aspect of their current promotion of their domestic league.
