KUALA LUMPUR – UEM Group Bhd has purchased 1.5 million shares in Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) at RM10.96 per share on Friday, January 24, 2025.
In a statement today, AmInvestment Bank Bhd, acting on behalf of Gateway Development Alliance Sdn Bhd, Pantai Panorama Sdn Bhd, Kwasa Aktif Sdn Bhd, and GIP Aurea Pte Ltd (joint offerors), confirmed that the acquisition is part of an ongoing takeover bid by the joint offerors to acquire all remaining ordinary shares in MAHB that they do not yet own.
As of January 24, the joint offerors’ ownership in MAHB has reached 92.82%, surpassing the 90% threshold. – January 27, 2025
