Brighton youngster Ben White is eager to make the most of a loan spell with Leeds United.
The centre-back has joined the promotion hopefuls for the 2019/20 campaign.
White, 21, said: "I've learnt so many things from going out on loan, such as playing against different players every week, who are usually big and strong.
"I've had to use what I'm good at, because I'm not going to be stronger and faster than everyone. It's about working out the ways to beat someone.
"My concentration has improved and I've developed in the air. I've played in some really important games and decision making is vital in those.
"It's been a great experience and I'm now looking forward to going to Leeds and getting started up there.
"It's really nice to secure another year at this football club. I've been here for six years now, and it shows that all my hard work is paying off and that's great to see."
