Malaysia’s plethora of local delicacies has always left an impression on international tourists whenever they visited our beautiful country. Foreigners have come from all corners of the world to try out our local delights and sometimes kept them coming back for more. To prove our point, UK vlogger Eli recently tried out the Malaysian favourite Ramly burger, and quoted that it was “one of the best burgers he ever had”!
UK vlogger enjoys and praises Malaysia’s Ramly Burger
During his time in Malaysia, content creator Eli uploaded a vlog on his YouTube channel, This Food Bangz featuring the famous Ramly burger. To try out one himself, he visited a Ramly stall named Burger Abang Booboo located in Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, Kuala Lumpur.
Eli was surprised himself as many customers were already waiting there before him. One of the customers even waited for an hour at that time! He interacted with the customer who was also trying for the first time after a friend of hers recommended the stall to her.
“He’s (the stall owner) has been here since 1990 and he’s been making burgers since, and we’ve been told that this is the best burger spot,” Eli said in his vlog.
The English vlogger then ordered himself an RM10 beef burger with cheese, mayonnaise, barbecue sauce and other seasonings. After taking a bite of it, he went speechless and was amazed by its taste.
“The beef is juicy, the sauce is sweet, and the bread is toasty. This is one of the best burgers I had on this trip!” he said to his viewers.
He even ordered another chicken one to bring back to his hotel!
M’sian netizens thank him for promoting the local food
In the YouTube’s comment section, many Malaysians were so glad to see their favourite Ramly Burger being represented that they thanked Eli for sharing this delicious food with the world. They applauded him for promoting Malaysia’s gastronomic scene and even suggested he tries out more different burgers.
One commented that the burger looked really enticing and that he wished to visit Malaysia for it.
One Malaysian even backed Eli up by writing that that stall truly cooks some of the best Ramly burgers out there.
Another suggested Eli to try out the Burger Kahwin Special Cheese, which is a combination of both beef and chicken patties.
We are so glad to see Eli enjoying this local delight as much as we do. Hope to see more foreigners loving our food and of course, our country!
