At least three people have been killed by Russian missile fire on the south-eastern Ukrainian industrial city of Kryvyi Rih, military administration chief Oleksandr Vilkul said on Tuesday.
A further 19 people were injured, five of them seriously, Vilkul said on Telegram. He said a missile hit civilian infrastructure.
Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a ballistic missile heading for the city, the birthplace of President Volodymyr Zelensky.
Ukraine has been defending itself against an invasion by Russian forces for more than four years. Kryvyi Rih has repeatedly been the target of Russian attacks.
