Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will have ample water to cater to its needs once the ongoing Ulu Padas hydroelectric project is completed.
The completion of the project will also result in positive economic spin-offs in the State, particularly in Tenom.
“Once completed, the water supply storage for Sabah will last a long while because the capacity for the dam is at 6,000MLD or mega litres per day when the demand is only around 700MLD,” said Upper Padas Power Sdn Bhd project director Lim Chin Hong.
