LABUAN: Politicians aspiring to form the next State Government cannot expect to be taken seriously if their past promises had yet to materialise.
Activist Lau Seng Kiat cited Sabah Umno Chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar, who when he was Deputy Chief Minister cum Works Minister in 2021, announced an ambitious Sky Train project linking KKIA with KK and its vicinity.
“Bung was in strong position to make the project a reality but did not although Umno in peninsula has been able to implement grand infrastructure projects.”
