Strategies were allegedly hatched by two camps in UMNO recently that seemingly appeared as innocent action but could be interpreted as significant political moves to checkmate rivals.
Najib is in prison but his legacy lives on. For UMNO die hards this is a cause for celebration but for us who are not his supporters we cringe even at the mention of his name. But the truth is his political maneuverings are still being practised.

Reports say Najib is not in prison but in a Cheras for rehab.
However, nobody wants to accept responsibility for putting him in rehab although nothing seems to be wrong with him.
Apparently it seems that the Cheras Rehabilitation Hospital provides VVIP facility which allows better movement for family members, political secretary and for outsiders to visit.
The news reports also imply that it would be easier for the convict to strategise political moves. If it was true then Bossku legacy is still alive and well.
Focus Malaysia says "the onus lies on the Prime Minister’s Department and the Health Ministry (MOH) to refute claims made by the WhatsApp message which is making its rounds nationwide."
Whatever was intended by Najib's camp must have been hatched after a few days at Cheras where comings and goings were easier than at Kajang prison.
That's a legacy that was often used during Najib's time, just close one eye! In any case, that's history. Najib is now back in Kajang prison.
Meanwhile, outside Cheras rehab centre another strategy was unfolding as reported by World of Buzz: "8 Umno Leaders Joined PM Ismail Sabri To The UNGA Despite Not Being Part Of The M’sian Delegation."

Yes, that's another legacy from Najib's days where an entourage not part of an official delegation would accompany the PM was often the order of the day.
For this particular trip they are surprisingly important people in UMNO that went along with PM Ismail Sabri. Perhaps this group just might be one that has to be weaned off support for the rival cluster. Only Ismail knows why he invited them along.
Ismail Sabri has openly announced that he'll be meeting UMNO's leadership only upon returning from UN General Assembly to decide on GE15.
Obviously after this trip Ismail would have a stronger grip on the party with more support from some of those important people that accompanied him.
So, you see Bossku might be in jail but his legacy still lives on within UMNO.
