BEAUFORT: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) Klias Division is prepared to take on any contender who seeks the seat in the next State election.
Its Division Head Datuk Isnin Aliasnih said they would ensure that other parties, particularly Umno, do not win the seat or the Kuala Penyu seat.
“There are no restrictions on who can run for seats, but we, the Gagasan Rakyat, are ready. Whoever contests, we will battle to keep both seats (Klias and Kuala Penyu) for Gagasan Rakyat.
“We (Gagasan Rakyat/GRS) must continue to care for Sabah as if it were our own home. Despite being independent for over 60 years, Sabah still lags behind. It is time to strengthen and develop the State.
