PETALING JAYA: Umno Youth chief Akmal Saleh has unveiled the wing’s line-up for its 2023-2026 state chiefs.
Akmal said the selections were made after taking into account all opinions and suggestions.
“I hope that these appointments will be able to strengthen Umno Youth in each state and attract more youths to join us,” he said in a Facebook post.
Notable names in the lineup include current Sungai Panjang (Selangor) assemblyman Imran Tamrin and Barisan Nasional’s candidate for Pasir Gudang in the last general election, Noor Azleen Ambrose.
Imran will lead Umno Youth in Selangor and Noor Azleen in Johor.
Last week, Akmal named Hafiz Ariffin as the wing’s secretary, Naim Kurniawan Moktar as treasurer and Sollehin Tajie as its information chief.
