Compared with Haj pilgrimage which required a pilgrim to register & obtain approvals the Government through Tabung Haji. Actually, the month of Ramadan 1446H that upon sighting of the moon is likely to commence either on the 1st or 2nd of March, 2025. Ramadan is not merely a month of fasting from dawn until sunset; it is a period dedicated to deep reflection, increased worship with the family and community at the mosques. Importance of Ramadan is further elevated by the belief that it is the month during which the Quran was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), serving as a guide for all mankind. Engaging in Umrah during this sacred time allows Muslims to step away from their daily distractions and immerse themselves in total devotion & self-reflection.
As Muslims, we believe the rewards of performing Umrah in Ramadan are bontiful. It offers a unique opportunity for personal growth and spiritual cleasing. I have experienced the overwhelming sense of peace and enlightenment during and after the pilgrimage.
