Kota Kinabalu: The National Science Centre (NSC) has handed over 30 units of interactive exhibits worth RM1.5 million to U-Science, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), here, Thursday.
Science, Technology and Innovation Deputy Minister Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup, who handed over the exhibits, said the displays would be placed at the U-Science for two years.
He said the exhibition aims to expand the reach and culture of science, technology and innovation (STI) to the community through the NSC’s mobile thematic exhibition (MTE) programme.
“This programme brings an experience of a small-scale science centre that offers themed science exhibitions covering the peninsula, Sabah and Sarawak zones,” he said.
