Kota Kinabalu: Construction works for the tube wells aimed at alleviating water issues experienced in University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) are progressing accordingly, said High Education Deputy Minister Datuk Mustapha Sakmud.
During a visit on Thursday, Mustapha said three tube wells have been confirmed to contain water sources while three others are still progressing.
He added that there are ongoing works being carried out on the water tanks and filtration systems in which the next phase would involve pipe installation for water distribution purposes to hotels in the university.
