Samuel Umtiti hopes to leave Barcelona in the next fortnight.
L'Equipe says the French defender is finalising his departure and deciding between the options he has. He will be heading to France or Italy.
Umtiti wants the deal to be done so he doesn't have to turn up for pre-season with Barcelona which starts on July 4. He knows his time at the club is up.
The player and Barcelona are working on various formulas for him to leave without anyone getting hurt financially. If a club can pay him the same salary then Barcelona could terminate his contract, but in the end it might have to be a loan and Barca will have to pay a part of the salary.
Nice and Marseille are interested in him and last summer Roma and Lazio were interested. Fiorentina are also on the scene.
