It's a heartbreaking situation as the investigation into the murder of 6-year-old autistic child Zayn Rayyan Abdul Matiin continues. After a second house-to-house inspection at Blok R, Idaman Apartment, Damansara Damai, the police have discovered additional evidence relevant to the case. The Selangor Police Chief, Datuk Hussein Omar Khan, stated that these items would be sent to the Chemistry Department for analysis, with hopes of gathering more clues to apprehend the person responsible for this heinous crime.
Hussein emphasized the importance of carefully analyzing these findings and collecting enough evidence to ensure a strong case against the suspect. The police have instructed the residents of the apartment to stay at home, though they can continue with their daily routines as usual. They also mentioned the possibility of a mass DNA screening, for which they would contact those involved if necessary.
At the crime scene, members of the Selangor Police Contingent Headquarters Forensic Unit are actively searching for new clues that could shed light on the mysterious murder of Zayn Rayyan, a student at Sekolah Kebangsaan Damansara Damai 2 (SKDD2). Their dedication is evident as they work meticulously at the location where the child's body was discovered earlier in the day. To ensure an undisturbed investigation, media personnel present were requested to leave the area surrounding Block R. Meanwhile, Zayn Rayyan's mother, Ismanira Abdul Manaf, expressed her profound longing for her son in an Instagram post.
Ismanira shared that, just before he was reported missing, she and her husband took both their children for a stroll at a shopping center, an activity that the siblings enjoyed. She emphasized their commitment to spending time with their children, even when tired or busy. Tragically, Zayn Rayyan was reported missing on Tuesday and was found dead the following day near a stream approximately 200 meters from his home in Damansara Damai.
The entire community mourns the loss of this innocent child, and the authorities are determined to bring justice to the perpetrator. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Zayn Rayyan during this devastating time. The police's dedicated efforts and the collaboration of the community will hopefully lead to the swift apprehension of the culprit and provide some semblance of closure and justice for the grieving family.
