Kota Kinabalu: Sabah FC Under-23’s head coach Johnny Dominicus is confident his players will be able to deliver in the MFL Cup season opener against Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT) II at the Pasir Gudang City Council Stadium on May 20.
He said this is based on the team’s impressive performances in a series of friendly matches held here recently.
“Friendly matches provide the best opportunity for us to prepare a quality team before the start of the under-23 MFL League season on May 20.
“Positive results in these matches are also important to prepare them mentally and physically for the tough season ahead.
