- A man and a woman have been arrested following the unexplained death of a baby in Crewkerne, Somerset.
- Emergency services were called to a residential property shortly before 2.45pm on 16 August, where the infant was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
- Avon and Somerset Police confirmed the death is currently being treated as unexplained following an initial forensic postmortem examination.
- The suspects were arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of a child and have since been released under investigation.
