PENAMPANG: Several landowners here affected by the construction of the Pan Borneo highway have started putting up banners demanding that compensations for their lands be paid.
Voicing their grievances via social media, they cited the haved been bullied by some government departments.
A landowner said the process required by the Lands and Survey Department is nothing less than “Mongudipon”, or doing the run-around getting paper work done as if they are begging to sell the land to the government.
