Kota Kinabalu: The United States (US) Embassy and the Sabah State Library signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to set up an American Corner at the Tanjung Aru Library.
The MoU was signed by Public Affairs Counselor for the US Embassy Melinda (Mindy) Masonis and Sabah State Library Director Fatimah Abdillah witnessed by Science, Technology and Innovation Ministry Deputy Permanent Secretary I Maria Chong.
Melinda said it would be the sixth American Corner in Malaysia, and the only one in Sabah aimed at providing information about the United States and information on topics of mutual interest to Malaysia and the US.
