Kota Kinabalu: Students in the state are welcome to obtain their diploma or bachelor’s degree at University College Sabah Foundation (UCSF) this year.
According to Mohd Asyrul Shuhaimi from the UCSF Registrar’s Office, registration of new students for the 2022 final intake is still open until October 21.
Various interesting study programmes are offered by UCSF with its campus located at strategically in Sembulan, here.
He said, among the programmes offered at UCSF are Diploma in Animation, Screen Arts, Accounting, Business, Hotel and Tourism Management, Media Studies and Visual Arts and Design.
Bachelors (Hons) meanwhile are for Hospitality and Tourism Management, Science, Sustainable Resource Management and Conservation, Arts in Development Studies with Media Communication, Accountancy and Business Administration.
Meanwhile, Felix Intiang from the UCSF Treasurer’s Office said that students who are interested in continuing their studies at UCSF can apply for various scholarships, sponsorships and loans that are offered subject to terms and conditions.
He took for example the Yayasan Sabah Scholarship, Yayasan Sabah Loan, Sabah State Government Scholarship and various other sponsorship or loan offers available to interested students.
UCSF Vice Chancellor, Dr. Rafiq Idris explained that UCSF is an option that could be considered by Sabahans if they decide to continue their studies in Kota Kinabalu.
“UCSF always strives to produce students who are environmentally conscious as well as students that are financially and digitally literate,” he said.
