The University of Jammu has achieved a milestone by securing the 13th position among state multidisciplinary universities in India and the 8th position in the north zone in THE WEEK-Hansa Research Survey 2026.
“The University of Jammu also figured at rank 21 among government — central and state — multidisciplinary universities at the all-India level. The ranking reflects the university’s continued commitment to academic excellence, quality research, innovation and holistic student development. It further reinforces its position as a leading centre of higher education and research in the region,” an official spokesperson of the university said.
The survey evaluated universities across India on the basis of institutional accreditation, institutional performance, infrastructure and facilities, faculty quality, research and academics, and student support systems.
