To enhance accessibility to quality higher education, Desh Bhagat University (DBU), unveiled a comprehensive strategy focused on placements, skill integration, centres of excellence (CoE), and strong industry collaborations. The initiative aims to position the university as a centralised hub for students and professionals seeking flexible, globally relevant academic pathways.
During an interaction with mediapersons here today, Dr Prabhjot Singh, deputy director of the university, highlighted that the institution was expanding its academic offerings to include regular degree programmes, online learning courses, open and distance learning (ODL) and DBU Americas international education tracks. These diverse options were designed to cater to evolving learner needs and global career aspirations.
He also said the DBU offered a wide range of scholarship programme to support meritorious students, sportspersons, students with disabilities and those from economically weaker sections. The flagship Shakti Scholarship specifically empowers girl students.
