VfL Wolfsburg defender Jeffrey Bruma has revealed he's being roared on by Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk this season.
Only Wolfsburg and Juventus remain unbeaten across Europe this term - with Bruma a big influence at VfL.
Just a year ago, Wolfsburg were inviting offers for Bruma - but no longer.
"Virgil is one of my best friends," reveals Bruma to BILD.
"I talk to him once a week. Since we were eleven, twelve years old, we knew each other. He knows Wolfsburg and knows that I'm playing again. He congratulated me on being back!"
He added: "I feel good and hungry for success. With me you can see how fast it can go if you always stay tuned. The coach's confidence came, and now I'm back!"
