In an official statement by the City Council yesterday (March 8), the Dimsum restaurant located in a house at Barat Daya was raided by the officers around 9 am, and many items, such as the signboard, furniture, gas cylinders, and kitchen utensils, were confiscated and brought back to the City Council office for further actions.

Dining tables were placed outside the house, and the meals were prepared in the kitchen.

This strict enforcement action was taken under the offence of MPPP Food Establishment By-Laws 1991, where the operator was found to be conducting business activities without a valid license from the Council.
