Kota Kinabalu: The State Budget 2023 allocation of RM54.05 million for Chinese and Mission schools as well as non-Islamic religious organisations demonstrates the State Government's commitment to provide equal assistance to all regardless of race or religion, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
“This is evident the State Government is sincere and serious in ensuring assistance provided is reaching all segments of society,” he said, when launching the KK Christmas Celebrations 2022 at Padang Merdeka.
The Chief Minister added the allocation had increased by RM7.05 million compared to 2022, noting the State Government has pledged to continue providing the allocation assistance to non-Islamic organisations and churches in the State.
