
SANDAKAN: There is an urgent need to upgrade and repair rural Kemas preschools (Tabika) that must be prioritised, said Libaran Member of Parliament, Datuk Suhaimi Nasir.
He made the statement following a working visit with the Community Development Department (Kemas) Sandakan, to inspect the condition of seven preschools and one nursery under Kemas in the Libaran parliamentary, which have reportedly sustained damage.
“We visited seven Tabika Kemas facilities located in Kampung Batu Putih Batu 7, Kampung Jawa 1, Kampung Kenangan Manis, Taman Gum-Gum Jaya Batu 16, Kampung Sungai Memanjang, Kampung Jaya Bakti, Kampung Pertanian Batu 25, as well as one nursery, Taska Kemas in Taman Gum-Gum Jaya Batu 16.
