U.S. regulators have announced a new series of product recalls affecting items sold through Amazon, warning consumers to stop using several products immediately due to safety risks. The withdraws cover toys, bed rails, hair growth products, battery chargers, and cookware.

The recalls were issued in early April 2026 by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), citing hazards including choking, poisoning, entrapment, fire, and burn risks. According to the CPSC, consumers should check whether they own any of the affected products and follow refund or disposal instructions provided by manufacturers.

Toys and Household Products Recalled over Choking, Poisoning, and Entrapment Risks

Several recalls involve children’s products that violate federal safety standards. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Coluans Christmas Light-Up Rings were pulled off because button cell batteries inside the rings can be easily accessed by children, creating a risk of internal chemical burns or death if swallowed. About 3,540 units were sold on Amazon between August and December 2025.

Another recall affects Beestech children’s spiral tower toys, which contain small balls intended for children under three years old. These small balls violate the federal small ball ban and pose a choking hazard. According to the CPSS notice, about 200 units were sold on Amazon in late 2025, and consumers are advised to take the toys away from children and contact the company for a refund.

The CPSC also announced recalls involving adult portable bed rails due to entrapment and asphyxiation hazards. ELENKER bed rails sold on Amazon between 2023 and 2026 were withdrawed because users can become trapped between the rail and mattress. A separate withdrawal expanded the number of affected Sangohe bed rails to about 36,500 units after regulators determined the products continued to violate federal safety standards.

Fire Hazards, Cookware Defects, and Hair Product Packaging Violations

Other recalls involve products that pose fire, burn, or poisoning risks. According to the CPSC, HTRC and HaisitoT400 battery chargers were withdrawed after 33 reports of fires and explosions, including injuries and property damage totaling $224,000. The chargers were sold through multiple online marketplaces, including Amazon, between 2019 and 2026.

Hair growth products containing minoxidil were also recalled because their packaging was not child-resistant, violating the Poison Prevention Packaging Act. The recalls include Tuymec Minoxidil Hair Growth Spray and TecFlox hair and beard growth serum bottles. According to the notices, the products pose a risk of serious injury or death if the contents are swallowed by young children, and consumers are instructed to secure the bottles and contact the companies for replacement packaging.

In another major recall, E Mishan & Sons withdrawed about 740,000 Granitestone Diamond Pro Blue stainless steel sauté pans. The metal cap attached to the handle can detach and eject when heated, creating impact and burn hazards. According to the recall report, nearly 100 incidents were reported, including injuries involving burns and bruising. Regulators continue to advise consumers to stop using recalled products immediately and follow official instructions for refunds, replacements, or disposal.
