Urgent search for boy, 3, missing from Suffolk playground

A police search is under way to locate a three-year-old boy who went missing in a playground in Brantham.

Noah was last seen at approximately 3pm on Tuesday, when he became separated from a relative after visiting the playground in Merriam Close, Suffolk Police said.

The three-year-old is reported to have run off down the alleyway beside the playground towards the new build housing estate.

The force described Noah as white, with curly ginger hair, wearing a white Bluey t-shirt, shorts and white trainers. Residents in the area have been asked to check their gardens, sheds and outbuildings.

HM Coastguard assisted Suffolk Constabulary with an incident at Brantham as emergency services conducted searches in the area and door-to-door inquiries.

An HM Coastguard helicopter was dispatched and Coastguard Rescue Teams from Felixstowe and Holbrook have been supporting inquiries.

More than 100 people have joined searches for the three-year-old, according to the BBC, who reported a helicopter appeared to to be circling above fields and woodland near the housing estate.

Brantham Parish Council asked residents to check their ring doorbell footage from this afternoon following police advice.

Anyone who believes they have seen Noah has been asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting CAD 203 of 15 September.

People can contact the police via their website, by dialling 101, or through Live Chat service at the bottom of the Suffolk Constabulary website.
