
Iranian media reports five wounded after US-Israeli strikes target a key petrochemical zone in southwestern Iran.
MAHSHAHR: Explosions rocked a major petrochemical hub in southwestern Iran following strikes attributed to US and Israeli forces.
Iran’s Fars news agency cited provincial official Valiollah Hayati, who confirmed the attack on the Special Petrochemical Zone of Mahshahr in Khuzestan province.
Hayati stated the “US-Israeli attack on Mahshahr” struck three companies within the industrial area.
He reported that five people were wounded in the strikes, though the extent of the damage remains unclear.
The official added it was not immediately known if the attack resulted in any fatalities.
