  • Hegseth praised the "incredible" results of the joint U.S. and Israeli bombing campaign against Iran, claiming America is "winning decisively."
  • Six U.S. service members, including Sgt. 1st Class Nicole Amor, have been killed in the conflict, while the death toll in Iran has reached at least 1,045 people.
  • Hegseth also reported that a U.S. submarine sank an Iranian warship and confirmed the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
  • President Donald Trump, however, expressed caution about the long-term consequences, suggesting the action could be a mistake if a new leader proves equally problematic.
