WASHINGTON: Twelve US troops were wounded in an Iranian military strike on Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia. A US official told Reuters that two of the service members were seriously injured.
The latest casualties add to the more than 300 US military personnel wounded since the war against Iran began on February 28. Thirteen US troops have been killed in the conflict.
Earlier on Friday, the US military said 273 of the wounded service members had already returned to duty.
