USA coach Gregg Berhalter spent time at Valencia this week.
Berhalter was making a check on VCF midfielder Yunus Musah for their LaLiga clash with Getafe.
"It's always nice to come to this stadium," he told the VCF website. "It is a place with a lot of history and the atmosphere inside is amazing. The team had a very good performance as well.
"I think Yunus had a great performance too. One of the things that he has is that he is very secure on the ball. But he also had that final pass today.
"The history of Valencia CF is very extensive and the intensity of the stadium is well known. The shape of the stadium makes it intimidating for the opposing team and you could feel that. The fans were fantastic, there was a great atmosphere and the team played very well. This game was one of the best the team have played all year. Scoring five goals is always good. All the players did very well and it was a great team performance."
