Tammy Abraham says patience was key to Chelsea's victory over Norwich City on Saturday.

Both sides entered the break with the scores tied at 2-2 in what was an attacking contest.

Abraham says Chelsea always had faith they could get a winner, which the 21-year-old eventually delivered after 68 minutes.

He said: "We went into the dressing room at half-time and said we needed to stay in the game, stay patient, defend well, and we would get another goal. That's what we did.

"We knew we needed to win. The first two games of the season was never easy. This game was very important and to get the three points is massive."
