London-based consumer tech company Nothing has officially named Kim Taehyung—better known as V of BTS—as its new Global Brand Ambassador.
The South Korean superstar leads a sleek, Seoul-shot campaign photographed by Dorothea Sing Zhang to launch Nothing’s flagship over-ear device, the Headphone (1) Pro.
The high-profile partnership underscores Nothing’s commitment to blending technical innovation with culture-shaping design. “V has an instinct for fearless experimentation. He’s always pushing into different sounds and styles, following his creative instincts rather than tried-and-tested formulas,” remarked Carl Pei, CEO and co-founder of Nothing. Pei highlighted that V represents the ideal figure to champion studio-grade audio for a new generation of creators.
In the campaign, V models the transparent, industrial-designed Headphone (1) Pro—a $399 (approximately RM1629.82) flagship pair equipped with triple-driver architecture and advanced active noise cancellation. The collaboration carries deep personal resonance for the artist. V recently disclosed during an August livestream that he has been receiving treatment for partial hearing loss in his right ear, a condition that worsened during his 18-month military service. By joining forces with Nothing, the musician demonstrates his unwavering dedication to high-fidelity audio experiences.
Speaking on the launch, V expressed his excitement: “Headphone (1) Pro is a design grounded in creative expression, and I look forward to our journey together.”
The partnership cements Nothing’s growing footprint in the music space, following earlier artistic alliances like Charli xcx. With V at the helm of the Headphone (1) Pro rollout, Nothing continues to bridge the gap between cutting-edge audio hardware and global pop culture.
