Borussia Dortmund have entered the race to sign Mario Mandzukic this winter.
The Juventus and Croatia forward is on the market, given his lack of playing time with the Italian champions.
Manchester United were reported as the most likely destination for the tall attacker.
But a report in the German paper Kicker suggests that Dortmund are also interested in the experienced frontman.
Mandzukic has not played for Juventus this season.
The 33-year-old will want a significant wage and a one-and-a-half year contract from whatever club he joins.
