Sassuolo have returned to Chelsea for a new addition.
The Serie A minnows are in talks for wing-back Kenedy.
Chelsea have done business with Sassuolo before, taking Jeremie Boga initially on loan and activating their purchase option.
Kenedy completed an 18-month loan at Newcastle United over the summer.
He was also on-loan with Watford three years ago.
