Barcelona legend Carles Puyol is a fan of Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk.
Puyol is happy seeing a fellow centre-half nominated for the Ballon d'Or - something he says is well deserved.
He said, "Van Dijk is one of the best in the world.
"He is a complete defender, always calm, a great player.
"The limelight usually goes to strikers, so it's fun to see a defender get recognition."
