Philippe Coutinho says Barcelona's players stay close thanks to a WhatsApp group.
Even though Brazil and Argentina could meet in the Copa America semi-finals, Coutinho is a friend of Leo Messi's and values their relationship.
"We have a WhatsApp group for the team and we've all sent him a message there, like we always do when it's somebody's birthday," the player explained at a press conference.
"We communicate there.
"For me, it's a pleasure to play by his side.
"Messi is a very calm guy off the pitch and he has helped me a lot."
Coutinho was asked if PSG star Neymar, who is being linked with Brca, is still in the WhatsApp group that he mentioned.
"No," he replied, chuckling.
"There's not much going on in the group right now, only birthdays really.
"We've not spoken about Neymar."
