Valencia coach Rino Gattuso admits he wants to stay long-term.

Gattuso was asked yesterday about the prospect of leading the team at their new stadium.

He said: "I hope that God gives me the opportunity to live many years, but anything can happen tomorrow. I really like working and coaching these players. I love the day-to-day work.

"I arrive at eight in the morning here and I feel at home. Ireally like coaching the team. I want to be here for 1, 2, 3, 4 years. But infootball everything can change in a second. Us coaches live by our results."

Gattuso was also asked about Mouctar Diakhaby's contract situation.

He added: "I have a duty. When I talk about the players, I explain to the people who have the responsibility for them what I think. I write it on a piece of paper. Then my work ends."
