Valencia coach Rino Gattuso has declared Jaume will soon sign a new contract.
The goalkeeper suffered a serious knee injury in training on Thursday.
Gattuso said, "We have spoken with his representative and Monday or Tuesday or today he is going to sign the contract."
Asked if he would seek a new keeper signing, the Italian added: "We are looking, the problem we have at the moment is the Mestalla team. If we are going to remove a goalkeeper from the Mestalla, the Mestalla has a problem.
"We are looking at it, after the Vallecas game we are going to look at it. Work is underway on that case."
