Real Madrid fans are furious with Valencia legend Mario Kempes after last night's win.
Real won 2-0 with Gabriel Paulista being sent off for a wild kick at Vinicius Jr.
Commenting on the game for ESPN, Kempes declared: "That was clear and he caught him well, huh? He comes in the air, if he catches him with his leg supported, he breaks everything.
"I said it and someone will agree with me. To Vinicius he likes to play with the opponent and there will be someone who will not forgive him. And that Paulista hits him below. If he hits him on the knee I don't know what would have happened."
Kempes' commentary led to many complaints from Real fans, with claims the Argentine was excusing Paulista's actions.
