Valencia have seen their punishments reduced after appealing against a partial stadium closure.

Valencia were ordered to close the Mario Kempes stand for five games and fined 45,000 for the racist abuse of Real Madrid attacker Vini Jr.

However, the stand's closure has been reduced to three games and the fine is now 27,000 after the Appeal's Committee heard Valencia's case yesterday.

VCF still feel the punishment is excessive.
