Electronic cigarettes sometimes called e-cigarettes, vapes, or vapor products are an alternative to tobacco cigarettes.A Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik invented the first commercially successful electronic cigarette in year 2003. Hon was stimulated by the death of his heavily smoking father and aimed to create a device to help himself quit smoking and avoid a similar fate. By the year off 2007 vapor, products had made their way to Europe and the United States. Over the following years, fans who successfully utilised these items to stop smoking continued to improve the technology, resulting the wide range of availability of vapour products today all over the world.

So how safe vaping is? Studies has suggested vaping may be less harlfull than traditional Cigarettes. People who are regular smokers they tend to switch to them as a complete replacement. But nicotine vaping still could be harmful to your health. Vaping has reached certain level where it's commonly seen among teens as well as people at almost any age who prefers it over traditional cigarettes. “If the liquid has nicotine in it, then the user is inhaling nicotine along with the other ingredients in the liquid,” explains Dr. Thomas Eisenberg, an expert on tobacco research at Virginia Commonwealth.

It is widely accepted that smoking cigarettes leads to cancer, a fact that has been established for many years. Despite this, when you use e-cigarettes, you are exposing yourself to many of the same cancer-causing substances found in traditional cigarettes. Some of the harmful chemicals present in e-cigarettes that are linked to cancer are formaldehyde, arsenic, acrolein, benzene, nickel, and toluene, among others. Research shows that vaping results in the inhalation of minuscule particle deep into lungs, where they disperse and settle in the airways. These chemicals have the potential to induce inflammation, scarring, cell death and DNA damage. Medical professionals and lung specialists in cancer institute NSW have encountered individuals who vape requiring hospitalisation due to breathing issues and lung damage.

Quitting vaping or any nicotine product can be quite challenging, but those who successfully quit typically find that the effort was worthwhile.
