Vasco da Gama have pulled back from talks with Newcastle United over the sale of Andrey Santos.
Globoesporte says Newcastle were linked with a speculative €35 million bid for Vasco da Gama's rising star Santos earlier this month.
The teenager has so far netted six goals in 26 appearance during the Brazilian club's Serie B campaign.
However, talks over a transfer have gone 'cold', with Santos' club focused upon their promotion bid.
Any further negotiations over a move are said to have been put on hold until the end of the Brazilian season in December, with the 18-year-old currently protected by a €50m release clause.
