Four senior citizens went through a terrifying ordeal after the Perodua Axia they were travelling in lost control and landed on the roof of a house in Seri Menanti, Kuala Pilah, on Thursday night.
According to Kuala Pilah district police chief Superintendent Muhamad Mustafah Hussin, the incident occurred at around 7.28 p.m. along Jalan Kampung Tanjung Bachang.
Vehicle reportedly lost control before plunging onto rooftop below hillside
The vehicle was reportedly travelling from Seri Menanti towards Seremban when the driver allegedly lost control.
The car then skidded off the road before crashing onto the roof of a house situated below the hillside area.
As a result of the accident, the front passenger and one rear passenger sustained minor injuries and are currently receiving treatment at Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital (HTAN).
Meanwhile, the driver and another rear passenger escaped unharmed.
Authorities are investigating the case under Rule 10 of the Road Traffic Rules 1959, and further investigations are ongoing.
