Kota Kinabalu: Seven vendors on Wednesday lodged police reports against an event organiser for failing to return booth booking fees after the event did not materialise.

The vendors, accompanied by Malaysian Humanitarian Organisation (MHO) Sabah Coordinator Jerry Jaimeh, filed their reports at the police station here

They said the individual claimed to be organising a nine-day extravagant festival to celebrate National Day on Oct 31 and offered various vendors a variety of plots to set up business.
