Digital wealth management app Versa has recently launched its Money Booster campaign, where investors will be able to get an additional 1% p.a. return for their funds in Versa Cash and Versa Cash-i, on top of the monthly base return rate. This means that you can potentially earn a projected rate of up to 4.77% p.a. (based on the 3.77% p.a. base return rate for March 2024).
Ongoing from today until 31 December 2024, you can tap into the perks of this campaign by meeting a few requirements, the first of which is to maintain an approved Versa Cash or Versa Cash-i account with a minimum balance of RM1,000. Following that, set up an auto-debit plan to make a minimum monthly investment of either RM200 or RM500 into any of the following Versa Invest funds:
- Versa Growth/-i
- Versa Moderate/-i
- Versa SGD
- Versa Global-i
- Versa REITs
Depending on your preferred auto-debit amount, you will then be able to apply the additional 1% p.a. return to the first RM10,000 or RM30,000 balance in your Versa Cash/-i account. Here’s a table to better clarify the campaign mechanics for you:
Note, too, that your auto-debit plans must be set up by a specified cut-off time of each month, so that time is allowed for the actual auto-debit transactions to be carried out accordingly (fixed on 5th of every month, unless otherwise stated). If you miss that cut-off date to set up your plan, then your auto-debit transactions will only be activated in the third month (which means that you may miss out on the +1% p.a. for a month).

Versa further clarified that all users are allowed to set up multiple auto-debit plans for more than one Versa Invest funds. Just ensure that the total cumulative auto-debit transactions that you’ve set up meet the minimum required amount (at least RM200) in order to be entitled to the campaign perks.
