Tottenham Hotspurs' squad have the desire to do something very special this term.

That is the view of goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who has been outstanding so far.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed his first season in the Premier League, displacing the now departed Hugo Lloris as the club's no.1.

"I know we've missed some trophies in the past and we have this desire to do something special under Ange. I think we can learn a lot but we have to stay focused and listen to him and try to make something special for Spurs," he told TNT Sports.

Regarding the top four and possibly making a title charge, he added: "We have to be focused on game by game and win every game we face and then at the end we can see what we can achieve.

Now I think it's too early to say something about the end of the season. We have to try to do our best to win every game, to give respect to the opponents but not be scared to play the teams that are in better positions than us.

Then we'll see at the end of the season because we want to do something special."
